CHARITY SOUL & MOTOWN REVUE @ THE VICTORIA THEATRE, HALIFAX ON SATURDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER

One of the all-time Motown greats, Martha Reeves, has confirmed to appear on stage for this Charity Soul & Motown event, flying all the way from her home in Detroit especially for the concert.

The charity event which is being organised and performed by three Yorkshire girls Hannah, Kate and Lisa aims to truly entertain and raise as much money as possible for their three charities -Breast Cancer Care, The Stroke Association and The Next Step Trust. They have been approaching stars of stage and screen, particularly from the Motown era and never in their wildest dreams thought they'd get one of the true Motown legends to perform with them.

 

Joining the girls on stage will be a full 12 piece band, including musicians from Corinne Bailey Rae's backing musicians. There are also rumours that a contemporary soul artist will be joining them the line-up...
